Seller Walkthrough

Step 1 - Creating a Ticket

Navigate to the #》start-deal channel and select your desired cryptocurrency from the dropdown menu. This will create a new ticket, where the rest of the deal will take place.

Step 2 - Add the Other User

To copy someone’s User ID: Right-click their profile and click “Copy User ID” from the menu. (If you do not see "Copy User ID", enable Developer mode in Settings -> Advanced)

After your ticket is created, take a moment to read the opening disclaimer.

You’ll then be prompted to mention the other party, or provide their User ID.

Step 3 - Role Assignment

Once both parties are added to the ticket, each must select their role in the transaction: Sender or Receiver.

As the buyer, you must choose "Sender", since you’ll be the one sending payment to the escrow.

Step 4 - Deal Amount

After roles are assigned, the buyer will be prompted to state the deal amount in USD.

Both parties must confirm the amount before moving forward.

Step 5 - Selecting the Fee Payer

If the deal is greater than $10, both users must agree on who will cover the service fee. You’ll choose from one of the following options:

  • Sender (you) pays the fee

  • Receiver pays the fee

  • Split the fee between both parties

Once selected, you’ll be prompted to confirm the choice.

Step 6 - Payment Invoice

Be sure to verify that the buyer sends the correct amount, matching the invoice exactly.

Once all deal details are confirmed, a deal summary and payment invoice will be generated.

The invoice includes:

  • The escrow wallet address

  • The exact crypto amount (calculated in real-time) the buyer must send

Step 7 - Perform the Exchange

If you're unable to deliver, both users must click the “Cancel Deal” button to initiate a refund.

When the buyer's payment is received and confirmed by the escrow, both parties will be notified to proceed.

At this stage, you should deliver the agreed-upon goods or services to the buyer. After the delivery is completed, you’ll be able to collect your funds.

Step 8 - Collecting Funds

If you'd like your name to appear publicly in the deal logs, use the /setprivacy command and set your privacy to public

Once the buyer confirms the exchange and releases the funds, you’ll be prompted to enter your crypto wallet address to receive payment.

Please double-check that the coin and network you provide match exactly with the transaction details shown by the bot. Funds cannot be retrieved once released to an incorrect address.

After submitting a valid address and confirming, the withdrawal will be processed, and the deal will be marked as complete.
